About our cause
The Society was established over 50 years ago and is committed to preserving Waltham Windmill as a working mill. We work closely with the Trust who have overall responsibility for the site, which includes a small museum and model engineering society, to provide an educational and recreational asset within North East Lincolnshire. Planned maintenance and repair requires specialist millwright involvement and to cover this cost we raise funds through membership and fund raising activities.
